18 Aug Intruder Alarm Upgrade Across City College Coventry Campus
Sonic Security Services Ltd is pleased to have recently completed a major intruder alarm system upgrade at City College Coventry, covering both the North and South buildings.
The project involved replacing the existing hybrid intruder alarm arrangement with a new fully hardwired system, providing the college with a more robust, reliable and maintainable security solution across both buildings.
Latest Pyronix 280X Technology
At the heart of the new system is the latest Pyronix 280X control panel in each building, providing a modern and powerful platform capable of supporting the requirements of a large and operationally demanding education environment.
The upgraded system utilises Pyronix detection and security hardware throughout, together with new hardwired infrastructure designed to provide improved long-term reliability and simplify future maintenance and system management.
A key feature of the new installation is app-based control for authorised security staff on site, allowing designated personnel to conveniently manage and interact with the intruder alarm system from compatible mobile devices. This provides greater flexibility and control for the college’s day-to-day security operations.
North & South Building Upgrade
With the works taking place across two substantial and operational college buildings, careful planning and coordination were an important part of the project.
